Learning to live for God

Advent & Christmas @ HBC

All Christians consider Advent - which means 'coming', and Christmas, veryAdvent candles 1 important times of the year. Advent begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas. During Advent we have the chance to remember the coming of Jesus in fulfilment of the promises found in the Bible and also his anticipated second coming. On these four Sundays our worship often focuses on some aspect of these themes, giving us the chance to remember that Jesus, firstly came as a King to bring his own Kingdom nearer to anyone who would hear and believe his message. Secondly Jesus will come again to call out all those who have responded to his message to be with him forever.
