Learning to live for God

On a Sunday morning we usually meet at Bethany Chapel from 10.30am. Typically there are about 25 people sometimes with one or two families. We remain together as a group for the first 30 minutes or so. The worship during this period is contemporary in style and includes a mixture of songs, prayers, Bible readings, etc. Although there is a worship leader we encourage the whole congregation to participate where appropriate. Sunday Worship 7We believe God can speak to us today and so we are also open to the different ways we understand he can talk to us. If you click on the 'Galleries' tab on the right there is a page there with more photographs from a typical Sunday morning

After this any children leave for their own programme which lasts for around 30-45 minutes. Currently we provide for children in this programme in a mixed age group up to about 12 years of age. While the children are out the adults will have additional time in worship and listen to a Bible based message by one of the church leaders, although it is usually the minister. After the worship we serve refreshments and people tend to stay around to chat for some time.

The atmosphere throughout the morning is always relaxed and welcoming and we try to explain what is happening for any visitors who might be new to us to help them feel at home as possible.
