Learning to live for God

During our Sunday morning programme children remain with the adults for the first 30 minutes or so. They are provided with colouring activities on a special table, although this isn't supervised. If parents prefer their children can remain with them. We hope that whichever option is adopted by their parents the children, as they listen and watch during this time, will begin to understand something of what it means to worship God together as a church.

After this time children, around 12 years old and under, leave the adults for their own programme. We normally have one mixed age group, although this can vary depending on the ages of the children. The group has a dedicated teacher and helper. All regular teachers and helpers have been DBS checked and have agreed to abide by the Church's Safeguarding for children policy.

Currently we are using age appropriate Scripture Union Light curriculum material, with the children.

Some times there might be special activities, if so they may well be indicated on this page as appropriate. Once every six weeks or so the children remain with the adults throughout the morning for All-age worship. This normally will last for about one hour and there will always be something for everyone on these occasions.
